Scraptastic Giveaway!

What on earth would I do with a bunch of fabric scraps you may ask??

Here are a few ideas!!

My friend Laura makes these cute headbands out of yoyos she makes from fabric scraps!

This is the one I bought...  :o)

You can also put yoyos on pillows, wreaths, and on and on.

Another idea?  Who doesn't love a cute strand of bunting??

Remember chains we used to make out of construction paper? 

I love this with different fabrics!!

Another quick jewelry idea...

These are kind of silly, obviously they don't work, but I would think of it as a cute bracelet - a "decorative" watch.  :o)

Royally Enraptured (part 2)

Okay I know everyone has moved on from the Royal Wedding, but I just have to post some of my favorite pictures from AFTER the festivities.

Some of the guests you may have missed - these are Princess Diana's nieces (I think) - they look like triplets don't they?!

I thought Princess Letizia of Spain was sooooo pretty!

I love this gorgeous shot of the Queen in her carriage.

I meant to post this on the last post, but forgot - totally cracks me up.

And what a sweetheart he is (err, can be)!

And is probably the only boy who can get by with cracking a smile as the Queen passes.  :o)

Onto the afterparties!  Again, Pippa looked beautiful in this green gown!

The prince - handsome - yeah yeah

A lot of people commented they like Kate (er, Princess Catherine)'s reception dress better than the wedding dress.  I wholeheartedly DISAGREE.  This one looks cheap to me and it looks like someone shrunk her jacket.  No, no, no.

But I love it all and can't wait to see more pictures of this beauful couple as they start this new chapter!
