"Life is like a mirror; we get the best results when we smile at it."
Profound, huh??
Who doesn't like a nice mirror here and there to check your teeth, check your lipstick, strike a pose, there's nothin' to it. But a full-wall mirror - well that's just craziness - who wants their house to look like a Jazzercise studio?! But wait a second, because I've found a few beautiful rooms that might just make you look twice.
Love this dining room by one of(my design crush)es Nicole Hollis:
I posted some of her other creations waaay back. If you need a refresher click here!
Placing furniture and accessories in front of the mirror like it's just a regular wall limits a little of the surface area so it's not quite as overwhelming.
If it's still too much, placing furniture in front of the mirror, hanging a picture on it and aging the mirror itself ought to do the trick! I think this aged finish is beautiful - annoying in the bathroom, genius in the living room!
A ginormous framed mirror leaning on the wall makes getting dressed a breeze and looks so glamorous too!
Mirrors not only make your space seem more open and spacious,
they also reflect light, making the room airier and brighter!
Prop it behind a crib and *poof* you've got twins!

As a woman, I believe you can never have too many mirrors!
