blending in

I adore this image from the Tory Burch store in Palm Beach!  I mean, seriously, isn't this pattern awesome...who wouldn't want to use this to cover their walls, end tables and sofa?!?

The idea of using the same pattern on the walls and continuing onto the furniture is very unexpected, but looks so great in both these rooms.

I've had this stripe saved forever.  It's so interesting to me plus I love that coral color and the pop of leopard!

There's no way I could ever commit to such a strong look, but Duralee provides inspiration for a great alternative...gorgeous!

Some people decide to cover the floors instead of the walls...
The first time the brunette showed me this room I thought it was horrible...I'm still not a huge fan of the look, but I am warming up to it:)

The cool thing is that it was inspired by design legend Eileen Gray's own living area from the 1950s.

Others have also followed suit with this approach...

These rooms definitely make a statement and require a strong commitment!  What do you think?
